We're delighted to announce that our Sunday service will now begin at 9:45am!

Join us as we gather earlier to worship together. Our new service time allows us to continue growing our community while supporting our wonderful priest in her ministry at both our church and St. Johns in Moston.

Countdown to Christmas

6th December - Christmas Celebration

Christmas Celebration. Join us on Saturday 6th December, 2.00pm–4.00pm, for a festive afternoon of fun! Enjoy Santa's Grotto, delicious cakes, and plenty of Christmas cheer. We'll then gather around the Christmas tree for a special Christingle Service from 4.00pm–4.30pm. All welcome - bring the whole family!

Christingle Service. Saturday 6th December, 4.00pm–4.30pm. Join us for a short, family-friendly Christingle Service as we gather around the Christmas tree. Why not come early and enjoy our Christmas Celebration from 2.00pm with Santa's Grotto, cakes, and festive fun beforehand?

14th December - Toy Service

Join us for our heartwarming Toy Service on Sunday, December 14th at 9.45am at St Matthew with St Mary Church, Crumpsall. Help us keep our wonderful tradition alive by donating new, unwrapped toys for children aged 0-14 years. Every gift will go to Wood Street Mission, ensuring local children have something special to open on Christmas morning. Your generosity can make a child's Christmas magical!

17th December - Community Carols by Candlelight

Wednesday 7.00pm, Join us and the Crumpsall Concert Band for this seasonal concert of readings and carols suitable for all the family. Wear your best Christmas jumper. Join a rousing chorus of O little town of Bethlehem, Hark! the Herald Angels sing and O come all ye faithful. Please join us afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies.

24th December - Midnight Service

Wednesday 11.30pm, Celebrate the coming of the Christ Child with the First Eucharist of Christmas. The service contains traditional carols and a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to give thanks for Emmanuel – ‘God with us’

25th December - Christmas Day Service

Thursday 10.30am. We celebrate the birth of Jesus at a service of Holy Communion with various elements for the whole family. Bring your new Christmas gifts with you, as well as your Christmas spirit.
